Kelley Batson-Howard is a self-taught abstract artist who began her artistic journey later in life after closing her family business. Originally from Alabama, Kelley moved to Central Florida in the late 1980s and spent most of her career helping to run commercial greenhouses while raising two daughters. In 2017, after a significant life change, she embraced her passion for art full-time, turning to painting as both a creative outlet and a new chapter. Since then, she has developed a vibrant, energetic style primarily in acrylics, while also exploring oil and cold wax mediums. Kelley's work reflects her personal growth and is known for its emotional depth and bold use of color.

Kelley has become a recognized figure in the Central Florida art community, exhibiting her work in galleries, museums, and art centers across the region. She has won awards for her work both locally and internationally, and her art has resonated with viewers on an emotional level, often evoking a strong sense of connection. A member of several arts organizations, Kelley continues to push her creative boundaries while contributing to the local arts scene. She operates a private studio in Eustis, FL, where she welcomes guests by appointment, offering a closer look at her creative process and passion for her craft.
