Daytona Beach has incredible potential to become a vibrant cultural destination, and while there are already some wonderful cultural offerings, we see an opportunity to further enrich the community. Our goal is to build on this foundation, transforming the city into a thriving hub of arts and culture with diverse experiences that cater to all ages and interests, ensuring there's always something exciting to discover for both residents and visitors.

A Cultural Oasis in the Heart of Daytona

The Riverfront Arts Creative Center (RACC) will serve as the beating heart of this transformation. Imagine stepping into a building where art surrounds you, from the gallery to the café and lounge spaces that invite you to relax, socialize, and soak in the creative atmosphere. Here’s what we will offer:

• Café & Lounge: A cozy café serving beer and wine with an open lounge area featuring couches and art, providing a space to unwind, meet friends, or work in an inspiring environment.

• Art Everywhere: From the moment you enter, you’ll be immersed in art, with pieces available for sale throughout the building.

• Educational Opportunities: Classrooms will host a wide range of art classes and workshops for students of all ages, from children to seniors. Through our fundraising efforts, we will provide scholarships to ensure that everyone has access to these opportunities.

• Support for Emerging Artists: RACC will offer affordable artist studios and wall space for rent, with scholarships available to help budding artists get their start.

• Professional Resources: A full video production/podcast studio will be available for workshops or rental, offering vital resources to creatives and entrepreneurs.

• Nonprofit Support: Reduced-rent office space will be available for other nonprofit organizations, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.

• Event Space: Our venue will be available for private events, offering a unique setting where guests can celebrate while surrounded by art.

 

Enhancing Arts Education

We believe that art is a vital part of education. That’s why proceeds from RACC will go directly toward supplementing the arts programs at Volusia County Schools, ensuring that the next generation has the opportunity to explore and develop their creativity.

A New Era of Art in Daytona Beach

But we’re not stopping there. To put Daytona Beach on the map as a cultural destination, we are launching an annual art season called Arts Voco. Inspired by the renowned Art Basel in Miami, Arts Voco will take place during the first two weeks of April each year, kicking off with an upscale gala—our biggest fundraiser of the year. This gala will honor individuals who have made significant contributions to the arts in Volusia County, including an Arts Legacy Award, an award for an arts educator, and one for an outstanding student.

In addition to the season, we will host a variety of events throughout the year, including art festivals, walks, wine tastings, themed events, and more, ensuring there’s always something exciting happening in Daytona Beach.
